Sessions to the gateway are failing but the gateway shows as online

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

  1. Sign in to your cipherscale space administration portal.

  2. Navigate to Gateways.

  3. Search or Filter the list to find the gateway.

  4. Click on the row to view the details of that gateway.

  5. Check the gateway's last connected timestamp. 
  6. Select the Logs tab and see the last time of session activity. This may provide a clue as to when any changes occurred to prevent the gateway from accepting sessions.
  7. If the gateway appears to be online from the timestamp, check that the gateway's firewall continues to allow incoming traffic to UDP port 51820.
