How do I add a cipherscale SaaS Application?

  1. Sign in to your cipherscale space administration portal.

  2. Navigate to SaaS Access.

  3. Select the SaaS Applications tab.

  4. Click + Add SaaS Application, which is present in the top right corner.

  5. Provide a Name for the SaaS Application.

  6. Optionally, provide a Description.

  7. Enter the SaaS Application’s domain name, IPv4 or IPv6 address, or subnet in the Address field.

    1. Optionally, to restrict the protocols allowed for access, select one or more application protocols or custom ports from the Protocols drop-down.

  8. Optionally, click + Assign another address to add more addresses for the same SaaS Application.

  9. Click Save Resource.

  10. Click Do This Later to skip selecting one or more Gateways. The selected Gateways must be in a network that can route traffic to the Internet.

  11. Otherwise, select one or more gateways from the Select gateway(s) drop-down.

  12. To add a new gateway to the selected list, select + Create new gateway from the drop-down:

    1. Provide a Name for the new gateway.

    2. Optionally, provide a Description.

    3. Keep the Deploy Gateway Now checkbox unchecked to skip deploying the gateway.

    4. Click Assign New.

    5. If Deploy Gateway Now checkbox was checked:

      1. Click Terraform, Docker, or Ubuntu to select a deployment method

      2. Follow the displayed steps to deploy and test.

      3. Click Done.

    6. Otherwise, the newly created gateway appears in the Select gateway(s) list.

  13. Click Save and Continue.

  14. Click Do This Later to skip selecting an Access Policy.

  15. Otherwise, select one or more access policies from the Select access policy for the new saas application drop-down.

  16. To add a new access policy to the selected list, select + Create new access policy from the drop-down:

    1. Provide a Name for the access policy.

    2. Optionally, provide a Description.

    3. Select Allow or Deny as the access Action.

    4. Select the users, groups, and devices this policy should apply to from the Source drop-down.

    5. The SaaS Application is already present as a destination. To add more SaaS Applications in the destination, select them from the Access to destination resource drop-down.

  17. Click Save and Apply Policy.
